Can you come to my workplace?

If your workplace is in any of the service areas, we may be able to treat you there.

Our main concern is your comfort and privacy. You need to have an office location where you would be comfortable discussing your issues and being examined for them. We need a place to sit and a table to work at.

What We Do

We provide high-quality medical care to patients aged 5 and up.

You will be visited by a physician who listens thoroughly and cares about your well-being. We are able to treat many of the same problems and illnesses as a brick-and-mortar medical office. We can test for Strep, urinary tract infections, Influenza and Covid. We care for minor wounds, tick bites, and remove sutures. We can provide primary and preventative care along with prescriptions for chronic conditions. Additionally, we do sports physicals, most camp physicals, and general adult physicals.

There are some things we don't do.

We are not equipped to care for life-threatening emergencies. We do not have an EKG machine or an AED. If you are having symptoms such as: chest pain; shortness of breath; severe abdominal pain; sudden, severe headache; stroke symptoms including sudden weakness, numbness, or slurred speech; or severe injury - please call 911 immediately!
We do not provide Narcotics, nor do we prescribe Narcotic refills.
We do not do Gyn or genital exams. For this reason, unfortunately we cannot provide STI care.
We do not do School Entry physicals or full pediatric wellness visits. These important exams require specific vision tests, hearing tests, and developmental assessments; many times they also require vaccinations that we do not carry.

Your Doctor

Karen Alexander, MD

Dr. Alexander is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

With more than 20 years of experience in Family Practice and Urgent Care, her patients have long-appreciated her caring and thorough approach.

After graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in Biology, she earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia (now known as Sidney Kimmel Medical College). She completed her Family Practice residency at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Post-residency, she spent her early years practicing in Florida and Pennsylvania before settling in Leesburg, Virginia in 2009.

Her broad training and experience in pediatric and adult medicine means that Dr. Alexander is ideally suited to treat the variety of medical issues that families commonly face.
